  • Skip you well visit

This is ridiculous! The annual wellness visit is the time to do a full exam of all systems. I don’t know of many patients who come in with a runny nose and a cough where the provider decides to check for STDs, stomach issues, psychiatric problems, etc. Of course if practitioners rush through it, of course it will be useless. No provider should rely on a patient to recognize the severity of their symptoms when it took us 8+ years to learn them. <a href="http://mobile.nytimes.com/2015/01/09/opinion/skip-your-annual-physical.html?smid=li-share&_r=0&referrer= skip you well visit
